Woah. Angelica root dethrones juniper in this Dutch gin that, frankly, hardly tastes like a gin at all. Very heavy floral and citrus flavor, and extremely smooth. Lets be frank, its pretty much a vodka. The only difference, and the saving grace of this gin, is that the flavor is still very well-rounded and even a bit complex. Its a very well-crafted drink. Instead of buying your favorite vodka, you'd be better off with a bottle of this gin; but if you're a gin drinker, you'll probably want to catch the first plane back to London.
