They've got a big game tomorrow against the Cowboys. This team has rallied at the end of the season after a mediocre start and are currently playing like a playoff team, especially on defense. Todd Collins, who hasn't started in over 10 years at QB is providing a spark on offense. Who would have thought? I think their chances of making it in as a 6th seed is very good, especially since they have the tiebreaker with Minnesota, and if they beat Dallas tomorrow, it will solidify their position even more. Will they get far? The Packers and the Giants have better skill players than Washington, but the gap between these teams aren't so great. So it is presumable that they can make a decent run, but the odds are definitely against it. Rarely does the 6th seed make it to the championship. They do have momentum currently on their side, and that counts for something. Ask the 2005 Steelers about that.

The Redskins finished up the year strong last year, and showed that they have a lot of character as a team. There will be some adjustment for the offense to Al Saunder's new system, but it was proven as a winner in Kansas City. Sean Taylor and the Skins defense will continue to thrive under Gregg Williams. The only situation that I worry about with this team is if Mark Brunell gets injured, and Jason Campbell isn't ready. If everything goes right, then they might sneak in to the Super Bowl.
