The Falcons are once again having problems this year, which continues to be defined by problems on defense and the offensive line, and a weak running game. Not even Michael Vick has been able to compensate! Speaking of which, Vick has continued his tendency of making bad plays at the worst times. Don't expect to see the plug pulled on the Michael Vick experience; the ownership of the team would rather make the team's offensive coordinator and even head coach fall on their swords before benching him. For all inconsistencies, he can be explosive and even unpredictable at times. Vick is very athletic, but is generally too undersized to be a good quarterback in the NFL. He has some good rushing abilities, but a QB can't be a runningback, no matter how innovative one might try to be about it.

Week II: Strong looking squad. Even the diminutive Dunn looks like an All Pro.

I think the Falcons will improve, but I'm still not going to put them in the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens, but Michael Vick hasn't looked right since he won in the playoffs up at Green Bay.
