The Jaguars are one of the most underrated teams in the NFL, probably because they've never made it to the "big show", but this is a very good team, especially on defense. Their offense isn't as good, which is the reason why they can't make it down the stretch. Definite wild card contender, for the Colts are still the dominant force in the AFC South.

It is tuesday 9/19/06. Last night was the DRUBBING of the Steelers on MNF. It is hard to say this morning that the Jag.s won't make it. Or is the Steelers offense bad without Bettis, and Burris?

I think the Jags are a solid pick for one of the Wild Card slots in the AFC, if they can't overtake the Colts, and I'm going to pick them as a surprise Super Bowl team. They have a great defense which always seems to keep them in games. If they can only develop better scoring ability, then they will be a much tougher team than last year. I think Byron Leftwich is a solid QB, and the receivers are young and talented. If Fred Taylor is healthy, than the Jaguars offense is a smooth operating machine to go with their destructive D.
