Far from perfect. . .but the film was fun and inspirational - but that girl was absolutely horrible. . .

Invincible wasn't a great movie, but it was enjoyable to watch. The story of Vince Papale is very intriguing, and it was great that the movie brought greater awareness of his story to the public. I would have liked if the film got into his background a little more. It didn't show what his football or athletic career had been like before the tryout for the Eagles. I was upset with the stretching of the truth when the movie showed Papale scoring a touchdown to win the first game of Dick Vermeil's career. Overall thought it was a good film, and one that I definitely would want to watch with my son when he gets older.

Excellent film! Saw it in the movie theater when it was out, with my sons soccer team, watched it again the other night on DVD. The story is well told and very enjoyable. The idea of a guy walking off the street and making a pro football team is the stuff that dreams are made of and I, and my son, had a great time watching this movie, both times we've watched it!
