I own two 2007 Yamaha Rhino 660's. One for the wife and one for me. We've both customized them with after-market roll cages, rear seats (for the kids), ITP wheels and tires, and a few other accessories. Got everything from a company called Lion Cart (www.lioncart.com). We go to the sand dunes and the Rhinos do very well in the sand. I'm able to ride in the big bowls and keep up with sandrails and quads all day. I'm very impressed at how well these vehicles offroad. I have pictures of both Rhino's posted on Side X Side Forum (www.sideXsideForum.com) if you wanna check them out. The Rhino gets two thumbs up for me!

i bought a 660 rhino from my buddy earl pecoe, it needed some major work in the headlight area so i installed running lites, well i wired them wrong so they didnt work, then i called DENNIS KIRK[atv mag] and orderd a lift kit and a set of 26' ITP wheels and m/s 589 tires, i also had them send over a 3000lb winch and jets along with a pro circuit muffler, after market brakes and a top to keepmy head dry from the rain...then i went to color copy express[local sticker disigner] and had some ''hillbilly deluxe'' stickers and slapped them on the hood!...i had sevrel complaints because it was to loud when i rev'ed it up late at night in my garage because i was board...lol...wellbefore i even tried it in mud i had a sound system installed[that really annoyed my neighbor joey at night]....one day joey came over on his wolverine and wanted to race...well i smoked his quad....then i tried it in a awger road and got it stuck in mud 4 1/2 feet deep[thank god 4 that winch]....it destroyed my sound system....ever since then iv gone crazy on my rhino[they nicknamed it "punkie"], i have had it in water, flipped it forwards and backwards countlessof times...a truck even hit me once! but she still goes...i removed my bed and front hood to make it lighter for raceing,i also removed my passenger seat and replaced it for my cool which i stock with pop and my beer!!!!....it has 2988 miles on it and its never had the oil changed, it smokes bad but its a yamaha so it dosent need anything!....i also have a set of TRAXX orderd so i go through ponds but my goal would be to cross the mississippi river on her[i may need a snorkel]

brand new 660 rhino brakes squeak, motor too small for the weight of rhino. its like having a one ton truck with a volkswagen engine. worst starting on the market, and drinks gas big time.the charging system , can not handle any thing more then headlights.as for magazines ratings on this 660 rhino, dont believe it, i made the mistake by buying one
