The affirmitave-action nightmare. . .overrated during his first tenure, he was outcoached and outsmarted at every level the second time around. . .the poster-child for 'Ray-der' nepotism exhibited by Al Davis- the Dubya Bush of the NFL. . .

Second stint with Oakland didn't last long. Got fired after one season back as NFL coach. Never got a chance from impatient management.

I bet theres a reason why nobody else gave Art Shell a coaching job in the last decade. The guy is over the hill, and the Raides are going nowhere.
