I've been here mostly on Sundays for their brunch and make your own bloody mary bar. It's nice to be able to make your own bloody and they provide all the condiments for you so you can make it as spicy as you want or as bland as you want. And they fill the glass almost 3/4 of the way full with vodka to start with. The food is good. It seems like a good place to come if you have more than 5 or 6 in your group. They also have dj's at this time so it can be fun!

Another enjoyable evening with friends! Dig the seats/tables, cocktails, and food (tapas style). Would go back for another couples dinner. Note, Levende has the potential of being a scene but right now the attitudes are happy go lucky. The DJs start spinning at ~11pm.

I was there last night and enjoyed it. The Mission doesn't have a lot of upscale bars, and every once in a while its nice to go to a place that isn't dirty. Levende is swanky and upscale - fancy lighting, big couches, odd shaped tables everywhere, dj, trendy staff, etc. The food was good (we had the ceviche), and the place had a pretty nice feel to it. Nice as a change of pace, but go there too much and the trendiness factor might get old. The closest thing I've seen to compare it to are Julie's Supper Club and The Public.
