 | alicat (3) 01/22/2001 | What a place! I had heard some good things about PJ's a long time ago and then a recent feature of PJ's on Citysearch.com closed the deal. I had to go and I am glad I did. It is located in InnerSunset where there are some great pubs, bars and other restaurants. Parking was tough but there is a public parking lot behind PJ's I highly recommend going to. So it is packed, even with a reservation we waited 20min. but it wasn't bad because we got a drink and stood there looking at all the great food, talking about what we would order. The atmosphere is casual to fancy-casual. I had on jeans but a nice shirt and was fine. Once seated I had a hard time deciding what appetizer to get. There was such a big selection and everything looked good but it is an Oyster bar so you have to go Oysters, don't you? Well, I did and the BBQ sauce helped get them down. Then I got this Ahi tuna with mashed potatoes. Delicious. My boyfriend got Jambalaya. I don't like Jambalaya and I think he was a little jealous of how good my dinner was but he had no complaints about his. The service was great. Our waitress was nice, refilled our bread, and drinks regularly. It is a little expensive but it is definitely worth it with good food, atmosphere, and service. I highly recommend PJ's. Don't forget to make a reservation though.

 | Minghoo (0) 12/15/2000 | This semi-upscale restaurant is delicious but kind of pricey. The food is fabulous. I recommend the seafood. They prepare that very well. The bad part is waiting. It can be a very long wait, and the inside is somewhat cramped.

You can have crab, oyster, shrimp, shrimp cocktail, etc. The idea is simple, they have a long bar and it is just like a sushi place but better. I saw it on Bay Area Backroads and had to go. I always recommend it to people.
