Why couldn't he help the Sixers out the way he helped this girl out?  I'm sorry to see a classy guy like Mo lose his coaching job, but after a dismal start to the 08-09 season, I guess something had to give.  Now that they have a legitimate paint presence in Elton Brand filling out the roster along with AI2, Andre Miller and some promising young talent, the Sixers seem to have most of the pieces in place, but their record certainly doesn't reflect that.

Cheeks is almost too good a guy for the NBA - a league overrun with bad behaivor.

How can you not love Mo Cheeks after this performance? I don't think he's a particularly good basketball coach, but he sure seems like a good guy.
