Mixed bag. . .a good ballpark dog is essential- but run-of-the-mill hot dogs are a waste. Go to a real butcher shop and drop real cash for real expensive beef dogs and you will have a memorable grilling experience. H-dogs remind me of beer- you usually get what you pay for.

In that I am addicted to baseball, and a dog at the park is an essential part of the experience, yes.
But its not the taste, I can assure you.

I love a good dog now and then, with kraut and mustard

I don't know if I would call a hot dog addicting, but do enjoy them, especially Chicago stlye. At a ballgame nothing beats a hot dog. My two favorite places to get a dog in L.A are Crony's and Pink's.

I'll have one at the ballpark and occassionally somewhere else, but I would never buy these for my house. They aren't good enough for me to ignore the fact that they simply aren't healthy.
