I got Roda Lacket a few days ago in the mail along with an assortment of other brands of Swedish snus. When I opened the can, I was suprised by the scent, because the first thing I do when I open a fresh tin of snuff is smell it. It certainly is different from other snus brands, taste and smell wise. To me it was just ok, but not bad. I prefer the more original flavors. This would be a great snus for someone that prefers a sweeter, different flavor. Cool cans, too.

Great flavor, one of my absolute favorite types of snus. I haven't tried the loose version yet, but the portions are great. They come in cool art packs too, kinda like Camel cigs. It tastes kind of fruity, but its got a good tobacco flavor at the same time.

Some weeks ago I excursed away from my settled Lucky Strike Snus addiction in search of the best ‘portion’ snus in the world. As I continue to prefer dry snus, I opted mainly to try out ‘white portions’. I am thrilled to have found Roda Lacket—-it is extraordinary. I think I can express it best by saying that Roda Lacket tastes very much the way the walk-in humidor of a fine cigar shop smells. (Naturally it can’t quite taste the way a cigar tastes, since the latter is ignited.) Its sweetness is a pure tobacco sweetness, a sort of gentle Swedish-Virginian compress for the nicotine-addict’s soul. My first full shipment won’t arrive for over a week—-how am I to bear it?
