 | kipprabbit (0) 04/06/2006 | there should've been a complete revote
the winning candidate recieved 49% of the votes, or actually 49% of the 48% of voters that bothered to show up to the polls

 | CanadaSucks (50) 08/30/2005 | One star for two reasons- (1) Predictability. Only the insane and illiterate really believed this one was going to be a contest. (2) Sadness-over-the-crushing-defeat-of-a-good-guy. I don't agree with Dole, but I respect this old bird and think he's a great guy. . .I didn't enjoy the brutal spectacle of watching slick-Billy tear apart this helpless old WW II vet. . .I didn't like it at all. Dole deserved better than to be served up by his party to get dismantled by Clinton (a superior politician). . .it still bothers me. . .it was like watching my friend's German Shepherd tear apart a cheap steak. Dole, a loyal party soldier, never complained and took defeat gracefully. . .a lost lesson nowadays.

 | Jar-Jar Binks (17) 04/02/2005 | I was 20 and I casted my vote for the first time ever. Clinton wasn't called the Comeback Kid for nothing. We lived through a booming, peace-time economy. The country was strong, jobs increased and people were satisfied with their lives, unlike today.

 | knowitallg (0) 12/08/2004 | In all respect, Bob Dole is an honorable man and statesmen, but he is and was not match for Clinton. George W. Bush or Ronald Reagan couldn't have beat Clinton.
