Although it was kind of low. Some would say the widows had it coming. Plus I don't think she meant to insult all the wives, just a few.

She didn't write about the 9/11 widows en mass. She wrote about four widows cutting campaign commercials for John Kerry and using the fact that their husbands died on 9/11 to prevent anyone from responding.
