 | FranksWildYears (57) 01/29/2007 | Her appearance on the list is just put here to give people an opportunity to slag her for her avante garde screeching and to kick her for breaking up the Beatles. But in reality all she probably wanted to do as an artist was to break the world out of its comfortable stupor and think about things in a new way or see things in a different light. They don't hand out awards for that but even if they did she isn't a rock and roll artist, the term is way too confining. And nobody broke up the Beatles, they just were able to squeeze their whole career into 10 years, instead of taking 40 like the Stones and the Who.

 | kolby1973 (33) 01/29/2007 | Actually I loved the fact that she helped break up the Beatles...as John Lennon was pretty much the only talented one to begin with. But she certainly doesn't deserve Hall status...what a joke.

 | trebon1038 (65) 11/07/2006 | A music talant she is not....now if there is a business woman hall of fame, yes...she is shrewd at making money.

 | numbah16tdhaha (156) 11/07/2006 | Yeah, I think this was added just so people could bag on her. She certainly hasn't done anything good in music and is blamed for breaking up the Beatles.

 | bear duncan (1) 11/07/2006 | ARE YOU KIDDING?? WHY IS SHE EVEN ON THIS LIST(SERIOUSLY)OTHER THAN TO TAKE UP SPACE. THERE SHOULD BE BE A MINUS STAR RATING FOR THIS TYPE OF ENTRY.

 | Flick01 (72) 09/20/2006 | I do not know if such a category exists, but if there is a provision for "contributors" then I would vote for her induction. My vote has nothing to do with her art, her movies, or her recordings. Several years before George Harrison became seriously ill (and subsequently passed away) she gave to the remaining Beatles two songs which John had been working on at the time of his death. One song was called "Free As A Bird" and the other was "Real Love." Yoko gave permission for Paul, George, Ringo, and producer George Martin to finish the songs. The first time that I heard "Real Love" it almost brought tears to my eyes because even though John was not in the studio with them, the Beatle chemistry between the four of them and George Martin was still alive. The songs sound as if the Beatles had never broken up, just taken an extended vacation and were now picking up where they left off. Thanks to Yoko's generosity we were able to enjoy new Beatle music for the first time in over 30 years, even though they had disbanded and John Lennon was dead. With the passing of George Harrison that can never happen again. For her generosity and (luckily for us) having the foresight to do it before Harrison became too ill to play, I would vote Yoko Ono in as a contributor in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

 | marto (3) 09/19/2006 | Forget inducting Yoko ono. she is one of the worlds worst recording artists. Her albums dont sell much & the only good thing she ever did was double fantasy
