First season I thought was amazing. Having Jeph Loeb in as a consultant really helped them, but unfortunately it started to slack a little for the second season and has only just started to redeem itself towards the end of season 3

As sure as Noah's glasses were shattered by Mohindir's bullet, I ain't craszy bout this show. Heroes is a pretty bad show. The only reason I give it three( it should really be 2 1/2 stars instead of two is because it can at times be suspenseful and exciting. But, it is waaaaaaaaaayyy too hyped-up. At the end of each show there is a cliff-hangar or new beginning which is hyped-up to sike you for the next show but when the show comes, you see that all the advertisements for it have just let you down. The plot follows the same pattern: The heroes run from Sylar, who does his own thing( like find his whistling Dad in this fourth season only to let him " die slowly of cancer"- come on, who's ever been a killer who hardly kills a single hero or viallain!Sylar also has too much of a soft side that he's starting to reveal- like his girlfriend that he eventually killed, El, his sidekick/mini-me, and not killing his daddy dearest!). Then they split off into groups of two or three( with Claire always paired with her Uncle/boyfriend, Peter) to fight some new villain who is supposed to be all-powerful like Peter and Nathan's Dad, Arthur Petreli( or whatever the heck their stupid last name is), and occasionally run into Sylar for another commercial-hyped-big and bad-letdown showdown that always ends with a few scratches, three cowardly heroes running after a supposed win, and Sylar dying only to appear in Noah's house sitting in his armchair with his bushy eyebrows and nerdy/freaky grin saying "surprised" in a tone so monotonous, it makes Keanu Reeves seem like Will Smith. Noah, who always parades around as the guy with no allegiance( he turns against his own daughter and her friends for goodness sake) Then reaches for his gun that looks like it came from the dollar store only to be pinned against a wall and have Sylar start to skin his big head so little that he looks like nothing happened the next show. Not to mention how slow he does it. Sylar cuts so slow( not to mention how long he talks about how he found said person and what he's going to do with their family) that if that sniveling coward Hiro fast-fowarded time, he'd still be saying the same word. a hundred years later. These encounters always end with a piece of furniture smashing Sylar's head thanks to the wanna-be super hero Claire( or some other annoying weakling) and Noah picking himself up, dusting off his shoulders, and going to play hero/villain again. Now back to the heroes- who are zeros in my book. The heroes- after winning what Tim Kring callls a fight- then fuss like girls amongst themselves about side-plots that we couldn't care less about, and disband their x-men wanna-be team. They sometimes come back together because of the appearance of a new villain with hyped-up, but-not-so extraordinary powers( all eyes on you Jesse), but usually because of the re-appearance of the same old villain or zero( they're not heroes; get that straight!) or a new name with the same powers( what's up with every one being able to fly like Wes- and while we're at it, how come every one o Claire's boyfriends disappear the next season). The powers are lame remakes of every marvel/DC characters' and the boring action and repetitve plots and heroes are terrible. I wouldn't be surprised if a guy who shoots webs, someone who has metal claws, and a man stronger than a locomotive and able to leap buildings with a single bound( not Chuck Norris- even though I wouldn't be surprised if they incorporated a round-house kicker in the show as they lose fans) appeared in the show. They copy like plagiarism doesn't exist! It may hook you with one episode but will let you down the next. With this fourth season, you can bet old un-fan favorites will return( maybe Arthur Petreli or Adam Monroe- a Claire copier. You see what I mean with Claire's dead Mom's puppeteer boyfriend), old un-fan favorites will die only to return( I hope Matt, Peter, Claire, Noah, Nathan and of course Hiro), and new un-fan favorites will find reasons to make themselves your new un-fan favorites( like Claire's fish of a boyfriend). Yes, the heroes are complete zeros and the villains( at best) are ones.If this show hopes to be saved, Tim Kring needs to do three things: 1). put in more action and more engaging plotlines. 2). Kill off wack heroes and villains- basically everyone- and add new, more exciting characters that he can find in his heart to make not be able to fly or heal. 3). Cancel the show and become a garbage man- hey, it wouldn't save the show but it would save our electricity and brains. If anyone has anything wrong with this review, they can call 911. wait, that's the number Tim Kring and his cast are gonna be calling to get away from my wrath.

Just an amazing show! Season one was awesome, two ok, and season three looks very promising. One of my favourites!

Season 2 was a let-down, but all I can remember is how outstanding Season 1 was so I have great hope for Season 3.

Holy Cow! Someone said that this season started out good? Sounds to me like an NBC Network Spy trying to blogboost the ratings.

Last season, every Monday night was a party at my friend's house, on the big screen TV. Popcorn on, lights off. Religiously watching the show, catching every little detail, discussing during the commercials. Even spending the next week watching the same episode online.

Quite frankly, the only thing that could top last seasons let down of the non-epic battle between Sylar and Peter, would be the way this second season is going.

Where the crap is Hiro? Where the crap is Peter? Geeze, these two were a major focus in last year and now that we love them, they're hardly even a blurb. All the 'Trials of Takezo' have been accomplished, but, we never saw how they came about!

This past Monday night's episode has been the best of this seasons' so far. But, quite frankly, I'm so sick of letting myself get sucked into the hype, only to be let down over and over again! I'm sick of the direction Heroes has been turning, e.g. the murder mystery. Come on, we have enough CSI's and Law and Order's. CAN WE PLEASE NOT MAKE A "CSI: HEROES"?

Get back to what got you the ratings to begin with. Geeze, it was so cool. I mean, Crap, you bring in George Takei do the cool little things like give him license plate number NCC-1701. You give Stan Lee a side character, SUPER COOL. Can you not do something with Ohura!? Geeze! Give her something cool, like, communications abilities.. something!

I love this show and watch it every week religiously, it's great drama. But does anyone else find some of the lines VERY cheesy. Over dramatic i mean. Also i have to say some of the acting is very poor(The friend in the burger joint in New Orleans), while other acting is great(Hiro, Peter). This show is great because it keeps you wanting to see what comes next. You simply cannot stop watching, there are so many questions that need to be answered. Also, it speaks to what everyone always wished they had, Superpowers. I think i'd want Hiro's most, ruling out peter cause that's too easy

Great start of second season. We got to see old favorites and new characters were skillfully added. Again a surprise at the end. Wonderful.

I tried to watch it because everyone had been raving about it. Found it boring.

too slowed paced, too many characters and too many subplots and so the whole thing ends up being disjointed and dull

High production values, a breath of fresh air. Compulsive viewing the story really draws you in. This is a hit for NBC. I can see this one running, with movies later on. Hiro could have his own show.

TO MANY ACTORS SO IT LOSE IT HEDGE.

This show first aired over here on the Sci-Fi channel and was getting rave reviews from even the harshest of critics even I got addicted.  Later on this year it goes to BBC2 and it's going to be big.  If you like X-Men then you'll love Heroes as it's like X-Men minus the spandex.  Absolutely fantastic and original show with great characters and storylines.  I just hope the second season is just as engaging and well written as the first.  NBC are sitting on a goldmine.

heroes is a very good show ther has been parts that tend to be drawn out,like the nikki jessica thing not to crazy about that. and i dont really get why sylar is the only one who can steal peoples power. but other than that its interesting and keeps my attention.

an almost four. I watch this with my daughter who is a huge fan of this. show. at least it has an interesting concept. that ordinary people thoughout the world find they each have a special power all around the same time. before they were just living their lives when by whatever circumstances, they learn they have a unique power, one can heal her own injuries, another can read minds. one can fly, one can transport time, one can take on all powers when he is near the peroson with that power. during the season they somehow meet each other their lives intertwine. sometimes I have a hard time keeping up with plot and learning ever added cast members. but pretty good show. some good actors. as I mentioned my daughter likes this a bit more than I do . but I am willing to tune in each week to see what happens.

Great show with engrossing characters and storylines. And it moves at a steady pace, and doesn't trip over it's own plot twists. And Sylar is deliciously creepy.

i thought it would be incredibly stupid, but damn if it doesnt suck you in! NBC's finally got a hit.

I love this new show, I'm already hooked. In regards to what tabby said about the two people randomly meeting and having a kid, it seems to me that the people with powers seem to be drawn together, like the two brothers, Simone with her painter AND her nurse, Hiro and the girl in the diner, the cop and the fire/radiation guy. This list could go on... I am hoping that Hiro's friend comes into some powers soon, too. Those two are my favorite so far. And I don't know if it's just me, but it seems that Claire's dad and his company may not have the worst intentions as they first seem to be...

Pretty good, LOST is still my favorite show on TV. This show has potential and hopefully will not lose steam as time goes on.

Best new show this season! I am very excited! It has a "movie" quality to it. The characters are not boring and they work well together. Hiro is awesome, that actor is great! :) It portrays regular people coming into their "super hero" powers. And no one wears tights or capes! So A+ for that! The show has potential. So far they are building the foundation to a great show. I can't wait to see where they go with it. I hope the writters don't screw up!!!!

So far I like it, in spite of all the hype. There are so many crime shows, reality shows, news mags, its nice to see this instead.

I was disappointed. I had such high hopes for this show. Very boring and slow moving.
