sorry but no. way back when I was in jr and high school i could see drug exchanges in our city school. a small park is across the street from me and behind some houses, I know darn well teens and adults go back there for drug exchanges, I keep my mouth shut. i am not going to risk dealing with these drug dealers. Living in the city I see it in parking lots etc. I look straight ahead and keep walking. I tell my now grown kids don't look and say nothing. I am not going to take the chances of getting hurt or my family.

Best to leave this one well enough alone. And, at least in Baltimore, the police don't care about stuff like this. One night, next to my apartment building just north of Baltimore, I stepped out to see two cops and a guy in handcuffs looking for something in the grass. The next morning, walking on the sidewalk, I saw a little baggy of pot there. Thinking that the two could be connected, I called the police to let them know what I found. It was cold, but I waited out there; there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood, and I didn't want them to swallow it. Yeah, it probably wouldn't hurt, but I didn't want to risk it. I waited for like 2-3 hours, freezing my !@# off (I know that they've got better stuff to do, but they could have told me that when I was on the phone with them), and when they got there, they said we could have just flushed it down the toilet. Damn, if they had told us that when I was on the phone with them, I would have just done that! So much for being a "good samaritan".

Reminds me of a true story. At age 15, a friend of mine from Scotland bought a lump of hash and did not know how to consume it. So she called the drugs helpline. She thought it was a public service to help people take drugs.

Don't understand this entry. Who are we supposed to consider helping? The dealer? (Maybe we can hold the product to limit the heat on him) The buyer? (Supply the papers or the pipe or the works)

I have, and I refuse to get involved. I'd call the police, except my particular department is lazy and doesn't take it seriously enough to bother, unfortunately. Maybe they think that drugs aren't a big problem in a retirement town (they'd be wrong!)

Sounds like a good way to get shot...

Who should I be helping...the dealer or the buyer? That isn't made clear in this listing. But I would definitely not try to intervene in this situation. If this were in my neighborhood or a place I frequent often, I might call the police to let them know whats goin on. However, there is no way I'm getting involved myself.
