 | oscargamblesfro (76) 09/22/2006 | Although he's a good songwriter, I can't take that horrible croak of a voice, but agree with Drummond about his merit as an actor, though I wish for his sake that he avoided that infernal Planet of the Apes remake that he had a small role in. In my view, he was a little too old to play "Billy the Kid' but did a fine job anyway. He's a much better actor than singer. Smart guy too, a lot of people may not know this, but he was a Rhodes scholar.

 | Drummond (54) 09/22/2006 | Great actor who's done a supreme job of acting whether playing a sensitive writer or a murderous son-of-a-bitch. He's been in some of my favorite movies including Lone Star, Pat Garret and Billy the Kid, A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries (unfortunately not yet on DVD!), Silver City and Limbo.
