Fun little dive that allows dogs. The pool table was also a definite plus, but it was a little on the smoky side (thus the 4 rating). If you look up at the ceiling, you'll notice that it looks like the interior of a boat (no, I didn't figure that out on my own). This place would be perfect on the pier with the fog rolling in! They also serve cider, if you like that (or snakebites). Having trouble parking? There's a $10 lot at Walgreens which is across the street.

Small bar in Russian Hill. Free pool and very close to a pizza place which they don't mind if you bring in. Unfortunately, it is a little too smokey for my tastes (despite the laws prohibiting smoking).

Great hole-in-the wall bar with a free pool table, friendly bartenders, $5 pitchers of Sierra before 8, and big TVs. What else do you want? Oh yeah, dogs are welcome, too, so you don't have to leave the pooch at home.

A solid, solid bar. I have been there about five times, and have had a good night out each time. $5 pitchers of Sierra Nevada during happy hour, cheap pool, a cool crowd, a woodburning stove - definitely a good vibe pub.

Free pool, 1/2 price drinks before 8:00, nice pizza shop right down the road - cannot ask for too much more. Crowd in there is always a good mix of nice people.
