How could you not vote for Menelaus "Pass the Biscuits, Pappy" O'Daniel after seeing this film? The combination of outrageous characters, scenery, the skewed colors and the music makes this great fun and worth a five.

three convicts escape on a chain gang during the depression. they are on their way to "find some hidden treasure" at least that is what George Clooneys character tells the others. they meet up with some different characters and mishaps. some quite funny like when they record a record and by the time they get to their destination, the song has become a hit. good acting good movie.

Really has nothing to do with Ullysis, nor any coherent plot. But the music and the humor, not to mention some incredible performances, make this one a classic.

Like so many of the films by the Coen's, some people just don't get it, and are more bemused than amused. I found this outright hilarious and the soundtrack, which I think got an Oscar, is on frequent rotation in my MP3 player.

One of the best films ever made. I have watche dit often and still find it charming and amusing and fascinating.

A delightful romp full of characteristic cartoony performances and skewed viewpoint cinematography.
