If ADHD had a sound, this might be it. Its not a classic, but Fell in Love with a Girl is a nice, high energy song.

This is a strong, catchy tune and the music video, made with stop-motion animation of lego bricks, is nothing short of amazing.  Check it out:

  Maybe I'm too old to "get into" a musical group like I used to (Black Sabbath, Black Flag, Stooges, NY Dolls, MC5...although I have recently become that enthusiastic over Arthur Lee's Love, and it was great to be able to feel it again, sort of like Bob Dole with musical Viagra), but if I still was capable of that youthful enthusiasm, this is the type of song that would inspire it. Short, loud, gritty, pulsing, like the best of the old punk rock stuff that I loved as a teenager. I was inspired enough to buy the White Stripes CD. Nothing on it matches this song, but this is a talented, vibrant "group" (if a brother-sister team qualifies as a group), and considering how horrible everything else has been these last few years (or decades), they stand out like an oasis in a barren desert of mediocrity.

The most giddy, fun blast of guitar rock in the last 10 years. The last time I shook my head this hard was the first time I heard Song No. 2 by Blurr. Check out the video of kittens playing the song on Rathergood.com.

Raucous song, very brief, under 2 minutes, but exciting and loud. 3.5 stars.
