04/14/2007 | One aspect of being an adult is acknowledging you are responsible for your own life. If you aren't happy with something, it is up to you to change it. So, whining is pointless. It makes you look bad, and only makes others feel bad. When has whining ever gotten anything but grudging, short-term assistance to make the whiner shut up? Long term it diminishes the whiner in the eyes of everyone within ear shot.
