not many people do like funerals. at least it is a chance to say goodbye and show their respects. it means something to the relative or those who were very close. to know others can take time out to say goodbye.

What to like? Person is dead! It's sad. It's depressing! It's heartbreaking! I don't know anyone who likes funerals.

I don't know anyone personally that does like funerals but they give us a means to say goodbye, get some closure, and support the family of the deceased.

I don't think anyone "likes" funerals.After all,if you're attending one,you've lost someone.However,funerals serve a purpose in helping those of us still in this world deal with mortality-ours,theirs,everyones.We honor the person who has passed,celebrate their life and all they have given and taught us,and hope & pray that they are "in a better place" or at least no longer suffering.The tradition of burying the dead with a ceremony dates back to primitive times.
