Service was friendly. The tuna app was fair....not enough tuna to match the amount of wonton chips they serve with it. Got some other appetizer but forgot which one it was.....obviously not great. I got the salmon, good. My company got the pork chops....she said it was fair and the other got jerk chicken, which he enjoyed alot (but then again, it doesn't take much to please him). My dirty martini was probably the best thing I consumed there. It gets pretty loud in the main area and its a bit to dark.....thankfully those obnoxious birthday candles are bright enough to light up the whole restaurant so you can actually read the menu. Ehhhh, probably never again....

Food isn't good. Service isn't good. The place is too loud. I still regret that I brought out of towners here. I won't go back.

I revisited Luna Park after not having gone in awhile and the food, service and management are so bad that it doesn't even warrant a visit to check out. There are too many nice places in that part of town to waste your money going there...I was around when it opened and it has gone WAY DOWNHILL!!!!

In recent years, I have visited San Francisco from Philadelphia twice and both times had the good fortune of going to this restaurant in the Mission district. The food was fine with a broad selection and decent prices, but the ambiance and service were terrific. I can't wait to go back.

Solid fare, but overhyped...deceptively reasonable prices jam the place, but the food is just average and portions are subpar as well. They've done a great job in terms of PR, though...great business sense.

A trendy, but reasonably priced restaurant located on 18th and Valencia in the Mission. The atmosphere is really, really cool here - there are large industrial beams and pipes across the ceiling - the walls are painted a very latin american looking maroon, and there is a cool little bar which flanks the narrow dining room. In terms of the menu, there is a nice variety of really tasty plates. You can get a great steak for $10, fondue for $6, a good selection of fresh seafood, and a number of salads. In a neighborhood that is packed with excellent restaurants, Luna Park has rapidly become my favorite.

This is a good, reasonably priced restaurant in the Mission. I went with a big group for lunch and there was a good variety of items ordered and everyone enjoyed what they got. Burgers and steaks seem to be their specialty (on the menu, it says "tasty" burger). They don't skimp on the portions either. If you order the grilled chicken, you'll get a huge plateful of chicken, veggies, and mashed potatoes. Luna Park is a good place to go if you're looking for a laid-back, non-fancy meal (lunch or dinner).
