I've read reviews where others have bashed the film, but I personally loved it. Its a fun film to watch, and I like stories where the lines between good and evil are blurred.

Yes, there IS a lot of "blood and guts" violence--what else would you expect from a Scorcese film?! :) But it's also a very intelligent and suspenseful movie, with a superb cast portraying compelling, multidimensional characters. I don't personally leave a theatre feeling emotionally blown away too often--but I did after this one.

Five big stars--highly recommended.
