I thought he seemed pretty nerdy at first. And then I actually sat through a show or two and realized he's actually kind of witty. I wouldn't want a steady diet of his show (notice the lame food reference) but, he really can be entertaining. He also seems very knowledgable on the topic he's suppose to be presenting in the first place - cooking.
