The Departed was a great film with excellent acting and a great story. The characters were welll developed without explicitly going into their past, like how Dicaprio's character evokes from the psychiatrist that she will lie to keep things at an even keel. Knowing the personality behind the characters really allowed the film to get into detail with the action. There was a lot of conversation in this movie, but it was never boring. The ending also finished up with some interesting action sequences that really wrapped things up well.
