I'm a Filipino AMERICAN and proud of it! And I stress the American part of it because I was born here (and the United States is still the greatest country in the world). However, I am Filipino in heritage and speak fluently in Ilocano. My parents never made me forget where I came from and where I am, and it's made me what I am today.
