02/20/2007 | We have mountain lions where I live: I had a memorable encounter
with one several years ago high in the hills. You don't see them
come, and they make no noise as they move. Stealthy and tough as
hell. When they attack people, they're usually kids, women, or
people under about 150 lbs. Things that stand upright confuse
them though: their preferred meal is a deer.
