10/20/2006 | A love song from their first album. Like many of their songs, it could have been a hit with more promotion. This is a McLean song that shows the influence of Broadway Show tunes, songs that sound like they come from old movies, and other earlier forms of music, it's a romantic ballad. Not in the top tier of songs by this group, but quite good. Their debut album reached #57 on the charts, selling around 100,000 copies, those are numbers which might not seem that great now, but were pretty impressive in the context of their time for a new band.
