10/16/2006 | A commercially unsuccessful song, the a-side to the last thing the original band put out, a 1968 non-album single that promptly disappeared and didn't make the charts. This track is great, with an excellent ending solo by guitarist Johnny Echols. It's a song about self-doubt and confusion, with a very Beatles-like feel in places.Shortly after this appeared, the original band imploded due to personality conflicts, egos, and drug problems, and Lee, the only survivor, did not release any recordings for over a year, a very long time by 60's standards.
