10/16/2006 | A shuffling,catchy, old timey/ blues number that appeared on "Four Sail" in 1969. This song has an interesting story behind it, it's a deceptively sweet sounding song until you realize what it's actually about . "Neil" was a roadie for the band who sold their equipment for drugs in New York, and who would later die of an overdose. Love had finally done some touring outside of the West Coast in '68, with shows in New York, Detroit, and other places. They were about to play a big festival in Florida when they found out what had happened, and this was really the final nail in the coffin for the group.
