 | firstsis (2) 11/01/2006 | This is the most obvious sign for me. I've always had a high threshhold for pain, until my shoulder started acting up. Maybe it was 21 years of pitching softballs?! I don't really know what brought it on, very suddenly, except to blame it on aging. That really bites.

 | Djahuti (53) 10/17/2006 | This can range from annoying to debilitating,but it can be ameliorated by several things: 1)Supplements,such as Glucosamine Chondroitin & MSM.(these do not totally "cure" it,in my experience,but they minimize it fairly well). 2)STAY ACTIVE (my Mom has suffered from arthritis since her teens,and she swears that if she doesn't "keep moving" it'll get worse).3)Change your diet.Many foods and food allergies have a history of aggravating arthritis.There's plenty of info. online and in books.(eg.avoiding nightshades may help some people).
