Seriously, though, it does worry me about losing flexibility and stamina through age, but that has more to do with how I handle it. Life isn't defined by the situations you're in, it's how you handle yourselves in those situations.
One of the most effective commercials that I have ever seen is that Bowflex commercial with the 50-year-old woman with the body of a 20-year-old. You don't HAVE to go down broken and feeble, but you've got to work for it, and that is the hard part: getting the motivation to actually do it. But it IS possible. Sure, I may need a walker when I'm old, but hopefully I'll do something about it so that, if I do, it'll be much later on in life than what it would be.

 | numbah16tdhaha (147) 10/17/2006 | Yeah, I was out running yesterday and I don't think I'll ever be back in the running condition I was in when I ran track in school or ran Marines 'till they puked when I was a Corporal. UPDATE: That is a good point. My crazy old weight training coach in high school was pushing 70 and he could still bench nearly 300 pounds. That man was a beast.

I'm still pretty close to the top of my game, but I don't know how much longer that will be true. This is why I play ball every single chance I get. Eventually, I know I'll have to find another hobby to burn off my competitive edge(golf? cards?). The day I can't compete against with the top pickup players in my city will be a depressing day for me.
