I feel compelled to write just because I don't hate him; looking at this string of 1's you would think he was OJ. While he comes off as arrogant, he's knowledgeable and I can pretty much tune him out and focus on the game while picking up the key points.

His dad was great, one of the top five all time announcers in baseball. As to this one, well to be crude, the best part of him was a stain on the mattress.
Chalky 11/05/2009
Joe Buck is a nano-step above Boob Costas in sports personality douchebags. You may as well have the World Series on mute but Tim McCarver is halfway decent in the broadcasting booth. On a side note, Joe Buck is only 40 years old. He's seriously the oldest looking 40yr old ever.
JohnnyHoliday 10/28/2009
What a worthless piece of shit. Whenever he announces a Yankee game you wouldn't know they were even playing. He only talks about the other team. Stick to football. You obviously know nothing about baseball let alone how to be objective.. What a fuckfart... Hope you get fired you assbag.
Dukesucks 05/12/2009
He's ok as an NFL announcer, but should go no where near an MLB booth.
kschwa 01/18/2009
Joe Buck is a douche. Seriously, I know color commentary requires you to talk shit for hours, but it would be more useful for following the game if this turd burglar were to drool on his mic for 180 mins straight than repeat his incessant "insight".
joebuckisgay 12/14/2008
Joe buck needs to be murdered, i would love to walk in the announcer booth and beat him over the head for about four or five minutes with a brick. fuck him, he needs to take his dad's dick outta his ass and aikman's shlong outta his head
DaBearsman 11/17/2008
The first time I heard Joe Buck announce a game on TV I thought I like him! How wrong I was, other than Stu Lance, Buck brings the most bias to the announcing booth I have ever seen. He really portrays this image of a little nerd trying to make everyone think he is cool. Like the annoying high school kid who isn't cool, but is loud enough to make up for it. Networks, please drop this guy!
JoeBuckHater 10/26/2008
With due deference to previous commenters, I contend that Mr. Buck insults and praises every team or player in every sport he calls in due measure, depending on how they seem to be doing in the game. He will credit a team or player for bad luck or castigate them for incompetence depending on the score at the time. He'll hate a team at the beginning of the game, then act as if the early innings, when he insulted the team, players, and fans, never happened when that team pulls ahead. If the team that is then behind overcomes the deficit in score, he will then act as if he knew it all along that they would. Being a loyal Atlanta fan for many years, I can assure you he is not biased in his treatment. I used to think he hated Atlanta, but after many years realized he was just trying to build up drama in the game, as he would sometimes act as if he was rooting for Atlanta all along. I recommend muting the television and listening to the game on the radio whenever possible when you wish to watch a game called by this troll. He is, in short, the most lothesome, obsequious know-nothing to ever curse the airwaves with his so-called "play-by-play". I wish him to consume excrement and thus expire.
cassiekal 10/26/2008
Joe Buck seemed to have a subtle way of putting down the Phillies. I understand that he is being paid to be a commentator. However, he seems to have an issue with the Phillies.
jpb311 10/23/2008
i hate joe buck so much. he is so terrible. he is such a hacky, nerdy, overdramatic, ignorant know-it-all. GOD he is such an insecure ass that just begs for acceptance constantly. its like watching a young kid try and make the big kids think he is cool. how is he not embarassed when he looks in the mirror? what a shame to his father he is.
drbobl 10/23/2008
Joe Buck is the black hole of emotion during the World Series. He is arrogant and self serving. What do we need to do to get him out of there? Replace Buck and McCarver with John Miller and Joe Morgan. Here's an idea... I've thought for a long time that MLB should have the announcers for each of the teams during the regular season in the series doing the games when they're at home. For instance; if the Giants were in the series and the game was in SF, Kruk and Kuip would do the announcing. When they're on the road, the other team's announcers during the regular season would do the job.
Gaelicmumm1 10/23/2008
I think football is a better pace for Joe. Baseball gives him too much time to think and therefore, screw up. His bias toward the Rays is almost to the point of putting one's nose up Evan Longoria (maybe he's thinking Eva, he better watch out for Tony Parker) a**. Take it easy Joe; having a legend for a father is tough. Just continue to be yourself and you'll be on some out-of-the-way station before you know it..
ihatejoebuck 10/09/2008
fuck you joe buck! if there was a god i would want him to give you throat cancer
krewx15 09/21/2008
I hate Joe Buck. Actually, I really like Joe Buck as a broadcaster, however I hate his snobbish money hungry attitude. His Dad could have jumped ship years ago and taken the money and left 1120 KMOK in St. Louis. Instead he stayed on to the bitter end. Joe, however, thinks he is to good for St. Louis Cardinals Baseball....so here's to you Joe! Up Yours you filthy bag of ass. Get back to 550 A.M. where you belong.
Markhornet 09/07/2008
Joe Buck just told the entire Fox Sports audience (Cowboys-Browns) that the GU 63 on everybodys uniform stood for Gene Upshaw and his age when he died. Um, Joe his uniform number was 63. This is just the latest example of his incompetence. He never corrected himself either. More of his typical arrogance. I like the mute idea better and better.
fishface2 07/15/2008
Joe Buck really sucks because Joe is the kind of guy that was born on 3rd base and thinks he hit a home run. Joe also thinks his Poop does not stink and frequently criticizes others while announcing a game for their life styles. Joe Buck's elitist wing nut style make him a "safe bet" & a FOX favorite. Joe should deemed toxic waste and unsuitable for public consumption. Joe is now calling the 2008 All Star game and my ears are starting to hurt and I feel sick all of a sudden. I imagine he must be one boring SOB in his everyday life. If Joe was a food he would be a side dish to a shit sandwich.
ihatejoe69 02/02/2008
Just worthless..He also love the STL cardinals..It shows. Joe, you blow!!!
GlenS 01/19/2008
Is there a broadcaster who more shamelessly reveals his bias and preferences? I mean the guy stopped just short of admitting that he was pulling for the Cowboys last week. Even Aikman, one of the greatest Cowboys ever, called an impartial game. Not Buck. He probably joined TO after his breakdown on the air to commiserate over the loss.
Bucko 01/14/2008
Joe Buck is in love with Tony Romo
joebuckenemy 11/04/2007
He is a piece of crap Biased as the drive-by media
yankeeloather4 65 10/31/2007
He is without a doubt, the worst commentator ever. Dick Vitale is more bearable than he is, Brennaman is even more tolerable than him. The only solution at this point is to seal his mouth with super glue and replace him with clones of Kruk and Kuip or Miller and Morgan
imcoop 10/28/2007
If his last name were Jones, Smith, he would not have a job. He is a wimp-ask him about the steroid controversy and he wants to change the subject. Must be because his boy McGuire is guilty!!!!
GaryJohnstonTe amAmericaWorld Police 10/27/2007
I hate JOE BUCK. This guy has no business broadcasting baseball. He never played the game and his inane commentary is worthless. I wish he would get busted as a pedophile, sent to prison, get gang raped by some bruthas in the slam, be the recipient of a dirty sanchez, receive a "brown doughnut", then set on fire in the inmate hobby shop/
mma09 10/26/2007
Joe Buck is rude. He needs to take a English and etiquette class. You don't introduce your co-announcer as "that is" instead of "this is" Tim McCarver. His co announcer is not an object.
hmccarl 10/25/2007
Joe Buck should stick to Football - he is nothing but negative for baseball - lower than poor he's terrible
keane 10/21/2007
Son of a legendary broadcaster, and that's the only reason he has his job. His voice is okay, but he adds absolutely nothing to the broadcast via insight and often comes off as partisan over the course of a game.
violantort 10/18/2007
Joe back is NOT a good broadcaster.. he is biased and he also hates Boston teams and roots for the other no matter who they might be.
TheMaus 10/16/2007
I tune in to watch the game, being a fan, I do not need someone to provide UBI's (useless bits of information, constant promos and telling me what I am watching when it is obvious. Joe would not make a pimple on his dad's butt; Jack was a professional; a great delivery made the game interesting. Thank goodness for the MUTE button on the remote. Get a clue Joe. When you do, give one to Tim; past his prime.
Bostonfan012 09/13/2007
Joe Buck is the biggest blowhard in sports casting. His annoying perceptions of things not pertinant and things not even remotely connected to the game at hand is un-nerving. He is soooo irritating that I HAVE TO change to another game. I have even considered watching the Lifetime channel with my wife. Get rid of these broadcasters who think THEY HAVE to be appealing. Here's a hint for you; WE DON'T WATCH THE GAME FOR THE CONVERSATION!
bluefinn 08/17/2007
For some reason, thinks he's funny. He's not. Wish he would stick to calling the games instead of trying comedy
brickman 06/24/2007
is biased against the yankees anyone can here it when he does yankee games i guess its because his sidekick mccarver was fired by the yankees
JoeBuckUSuck 04/15/2007
I can't stand this guy. Yankee lovin' scumbag.
Braves 01/16/2007
I HATE JOE BUCK. PERIOD.
Loerke 01/14/2007
A pretty boy with a good voice with a famous dad who manages to never say anything even remotely intelligent. But at least his idiotic commentary got me listening to the Spanish broadcast instead so I can try to pick up another language.
sportskillerfo x 01/03/2007
I'm personally sick of FOX in general. First they shove Joe Buck down your throat every weekend, and then, they win the bid for the BCS series. The last traditional sport is now going to be ruined by endless sound affects and Brian Baldinger trying to act like John Madden. Fox is everything that is wrong with today's sports.
dammit21 12/21/2006
joe buck doesn't know dick. He talked about tank johnson and then made the dumbass comment that he was raising the dogs for fighting, who the hell does he think he is making that comment. Joe buck brings new meaning to the word "Ass clown"
RealSports76 12/20/2006
JOE BUCK RUINS THE GAME I HOPE HE GETS AIDS FROM TROY AIKMAN AND NEVER HAVE TO SEE OR HEAR ABOUT EITHER ONE OF THESE LOSERS AGAIN!
joebucksucks 12/17/2006
Forget steroids and TO, Joe Buck is the absolute worst thing about professional sports today. Two words come to mind when I think of Joe Buck "pompous self-important jackass" I know thats more than two words but I almost forgot self-important. He's better suited at performing "oral service" to Troy Aikman than calling football games.
lilbrothalee 11/17/2006
As a sports fan, I shouldn't read these. I always have faith that the general sports public communicating on the web is intelligent. Again, you prove me wrong. Joe Buck has a tough job. Joe Buck does an amazing amount of work. Joe Buck has earned everything on his own. How many of you have been promoted because of someone you know. In reality, you could not do Joe Buck's job(s). You don't have the discipline, the organizational skills, the wit, or the drive to work that hard. No, you don't. Stop arguing with yourself! Get some self-esteem and go try hard at something where your every syllable is scrutinized. Half of you can't communicate with your family, let alone make a game attended by 20 to 100,000 people fit into the small perspectives of your lives. Relax, open another Duff Beer and accept your average fate! It's ok, many people do it! Love ya!
JosephTurtle 10/31/2006
He is the worst "network" play by play man in history. He shows no passion or insight ans is just a shill of a person without any sense of integrity or purpose. And let's not forget his racial rage towards Randy Moss and others that is not part of his mid western roots and heritage. He is a disgrace.
Jblacker 10/22/2006
Jack Buck was Great !! and I watched him for 50 years ! But I do think Joe is a better student of the games I have seen him announce . Everyone has their own style and he does not have the voice of his Dad, but I do enjoy his anaylsis of the games. Everyone has their bench mark of announcing and my best was Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese for baseball and Pat Summerall and John Madden for Football.
kardav2 10/18/2006
Joe Buck is terrible. His father must be rolling over in his grave. I understand that he works for Fox Network and he has to be unbiased, but he slams the Cardinals every chance he has. He's as bad as McCarver.
MikeNolan 10/14/2006
Joe Buck is the worst of the worst. But his father was the best of the best.
redskinsfan12 09/10/2006
I am going to give you three reasons why Joe Buck is the worst sports announcer: 1. He does not know how to spot the ball. 2. He does not know anything about football. 3. He makes alot of mistakes in players names.
Ih8rateitall 05/24/2006
Bad at football, and even worse in baseball. Plain and dull dudes. Terrible
brownie 03/25/2006
It's the comments he makes that have nothing to do with what we're watching that I hate.
oscargamblesfr o 02/26/2006
Nowhere near his dad...an annoying yuppie that's very biased at times and has a square sense of humor. Looks like what the class President of Yale in say 1932 must have.
cowboysfan 02/01/2006
More than obvious where his loyalty lies when working his NFL assignments. Seems to be very biased and readily makes excuses for the teams he wants to win and quickly downplays any accomplishments the opposing teams make. Watched the Seahawk game with North Carolina and although I hate the Seahawks I couldn't help but come away with my opinion.
charris103 01/25/2006
I think Fox sports has created a monster. Who loves bringing up any negative about an althele.Thank God for Troy Aiknen who doesn't feed into that dumb talk about a player personal life or problems.
