10/29/2006 | I suppose Gore cannot let up the fact that people mock him for his accomplishment, and now he is seeking to prove that he indeed did invent the internet, which was actually "invented" by the US Department of Defense during the 1960's, well before Gore's political career began. He may have supported legislation which brought the internet into the public domain, but that isn't necessarily an invention!
