Oh yes, I sing along to the CD. and even sing in front of the dogs. Molly our mutt "howls along" I guess I do not sing so well, sniff!  not really to my dogs. just around them.

Yeah, but I sing all the time and its usually some ridiculous stuff that I'm making up as I sing it.

UPDATE: I sing to birds too. They like it, especially Mom's cockatoo.

Hey they listen to me at least without fear of them telling someone else so why not. They like my singing because they join in occasionally. At least I think they like it. Then again they do the same when a siren goes by.

Why? I don't think I've ever had the urge to even consider it; besides, who wants to deal with the crazy looks they give you for acting ridiculous? haha

I've actually never been stupid enough to do this and why anyone does is beyond me.

yeah, all the time. I sing to, speak to all my pets, and this is why they are absolutely devoted to me. They have feelings and emotions too and like to feel like they belong to a pack. Dogs in particlar respond to personal interaction, they communicate to one another contasntly, cats do too although its not as frequent since they are more loners.

Of course. I sometimes just sing whatever comes to mind but, I also now have an actual song I made up - known currently as The Little Dog Song. The funny thing is that when they hear it now they think it's party time and react to it by begging for treats. With corgis it's pretty much any excuse to chow down.

I don't have one, and I don't recommend singing to a strange one either. If I did, the dog would probably look at me sidelong and then say " F- You Oscar, quit caterwauling and try making a weblist that doesn't focus on a band that broke up before Ridgewalker was out of high school."

One of my sisters used to play the harmonica, and another would sing the "Age of Aquarius" and the dog would howl. It was funny.

Umm . . . can't say that I have, no . . . I've talked to pets before, as if they understand/care what I have to say, though.

Hey, sing to them, have full blown conversations with them....I mean come on....I live with six of the bugers.
