sometimes i will put on a movie I know is a tearjerker. i know i will most likely get choked up in certain scenes but I do not intentionally watch it just to cry. more that i like the movie and just happen to get teary eyed while watching it.

Not movies, music. I have listened to sappy country love songs for the same purpose.

I don't really think I've done this intentionally...maybe subconciously. I know that I do tend to pick films to watch that enhance a certain mood I might be in. For instance, I am drawn to atmospheric, sort of gothic romance stuff quite a lot - especially this time of year.
