 | SharonParry (42) 11/21/2006 | I never do this with children. For some reason, it just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I don't put others down for it, but, I want the children I spend time with to learn proper grammar. I do talk baby talk to animals.

 | Chirp (6) 10/29/2006 | Kind of embarrassing but they like it tho.I didn't like when people did that to me when I wasn't a baby anymore tho. Some adults don't know when to quit.

 | Molfan (57) 10/29/2006 | probably at one time or another. not sure if they actually like it. imagine they would be more amused at the funny face a person may be making instead.

 | Suzysway (20) 10/28/2006 | Seems kind of instinctual to do this... but not to some random kid in public. I would draw the line with one's own, sibling's, family, and friend's kids.

 | Bird808 (52) 10/27/2006 | I don't think I could do this and I've observed people that do and that poor child is looking at them like "You idiot, please stop" and they smile mainly due to the adult making stupid faces along with it. I prefer to talk to babies and toddlers as if their adults and they actually prefer it plus you'll be amazed at the responses you can get out of them once you leave the "baby talk" behind.
