I live out in the boonies; we don't get children looking for candy :(

Yes, sadly the years that I hated halloween because I never had any idea what I wanted to be...so I'd dress up in some random costume from years passed and pass out candy.

nope, I am not into halloween very much anymore. we saw to it that our kids went trick or treating when young. but for about eight years we do not even hand out candy. we used to, but for many reasons just do not anymore. let the other neighbors hand it out. we buy candy but just keep it here or only give to a few on our block.more than half the people do not hand out candy in this neighborhood.

I'll be doing this again this year. With my costume its really not an option, especially since my nephews get a kick out of Uncle Mike dressed up like a Jedi.

Oh, any chance to dive into a fantasy world and I'm there. I have loved costumes my entire life. If I had it to do over again, I think I'd try to get into costuming (and maybe even some special effects) on a really huge level. My personal favorite costume of all time is the witch from Snow White...gotta love that creepy royal purple and black. I did it twice for costume parties and donned it a time or two just to answer the door. The look on the really little kid's faces is priceless.

Not me but when we were pretty young my Mom did the whole bit. She had the scarey music playing on the porch, dressed up as a witch, and scared the daylights out of anyone on the porch...she had to stop because the little kids wouldn't come anywhere near the house!
