Actually I hate it and personally wish they would leave it that way, but Genghis makes a good point about the kids going to school. There are some kids around here who have about an hour long bus ride before and after school, so it makes sense to change it for them too.

I don't care too much for this. I like when it stays lighter out later.

The only thing to like about this is the extra hour of sleep we get the night when everyone turns the clocks back.

Lighten up on DSL. One of the main reasons that we go off daylight time is a safety reason. Kids are going to school in the morning and going in the dark is dangerous. To stay pn Daylight time in many parts of the country would cause this problem. School is out in afternoon while it is still light.

A little farmer's hand once told me that the extra hour of light isn't all that important to them. If we as an entire population are sacrificing for the farmers, then by golly, this extra hour better be crop-saving.

I despise the end of daylight savings. It doesn't make any sense. It makes for a less healthy country as after work, outdoor workouts are out of the question. It makes the workday feel longer, and is generally demoralizing. When are we going to have a politician with the guts to take on this outdated relic of a rule?

This really doesn't affect me...I live in Arizona.

Sounds crazy, but my body knows that hour is missing from the day they take it away in April until the day we get it back in October. As soon as I get that hour back (today!!), I'm finally in sync again. Who invented that stupid idea anyway?

good and bad. It was nice to get an extra hour of sleep. or an extra hour of being up. Not happy with it getting dark so early. but good part is it will not be almost pitch dark when I take my son to high school tomorrow.

A wee bit sad to see the shorter days ahead, but, I guess the plant life and hibernating animals need their rest.
