Like 'em, but a lot of the early material was forgettable and they didn't exactly have the same influence as, say, Husker Du or The Replacements. Wouldn't be surprised if they ended up on the ballot, however.

i really like the band, but there are many more deserving groups that should be inducted first.

One of the late 80's more influential pop/rock acts. Give them a shot, especially in 2013 or later.

Ah...no...not even close. They put out one, maybe two, decent albums with some great tracks that didn't get any radio play. Mainly got attention because of the labels looking for the chick fronted bands that they could push...essentially making them an affirmative action pick. She does have an interesting voice, I'll give her that, but, in my opinion, the band was overrated.
