Best horse in the world at the end of the 19th century and competes with Pharlap as best racehorse from Australasia. Beat the race time record and weight record twice and still holds the Melbourne Cup weight record for a winner. Also a notable contributor to the racing world's blood line with progeny including its grandson Pharlap and the Canadian champion Northern Dancer.
