Lawrence, if this is any help to you, on a website I sometimes use called www.notemine.com, whenever you leave a comment on someone's "thought box", you can add "@username" at the beginning of your comment, and if you do so, it notifies them that their comment has been responded to. I thought this system worked quite nicely...

I didn't know about the email me button till a couple days ago. I was wondering why my email was filling up. It's a pain in the ass to delete each review of each topic you commented on. Now I will hit the do not email me button.

I'd love to have this because I don't feel like clicking on EVERY single thing I add to a list.

I rarely comment directly on the reviews of others using the new feature (i.e. a reply), but others may do so more often. I also like the option to receive email notices when others reply to my reviews. The problem is I now have over 2,000 comments dating well before the new notice option that also haven't been flagged to send emails. The solution is clearly a "check the box" on our profiles that triggers these notices for all reviews. Whether this proposed enhancement is pressing determines on how interactive RIA management wants this site to be. Clearly, if replies are to be useful, members need to know when and where they are made on older and more recent reviews.
