Casino Royale definitely lived up to expectations, and Daniel Craig is worthy of the James Bond role. The action was great in the movie, and the women, cars, and attitude that made James Bond famous were present as well. I like how they focused on James Bond having to overcome his ego in order to succeed in this movie. I read that they are planning the next Bond movie to be a direct sequel of this one, which is what I felt they were setting up during the last half hour of the film. I will definitely look forward to the next Bond film following Casino Royale.

Best Bond film in quite some time.

Remember that this Bond movie is based on the first book by Ian Fleming. This is supposed to be the movie that creates James Bond. Naturally, we have a lot of fun watching James' young self be overly aggressive and not always the most delicate spy. He has a forceful and almost reckless way about him that shows he is still learning to be a double-0. Daniel Craig is British, well-built, and has a dry sense of humor that fits the part. I had my reservations about a new bond, but this movie was able to overcome them and re-ignite the franchise.
