I got my Emerica Heritic-3 shoes a few weeks ago. They look really nice, the design is great and the laces match perfectly. There seem a snug fit when you first put them on but when I started skating I felt a pinch on my little toe that became really annoying. I stretched them with newspaper and broke them in and the pinching is gone, but it took a while and was really irritating when I wanted to just go out and skate. Nows theres there performance in skating. The sole is really thick, and I noticed I was getting a noticable amount more pop, which was pretty good. But the thing I noticed straight away is the feel on my front foot when sliding up was much more different. Flipping with this shoe is a pain in comparison to my old vans. The front of the shoe is really grippy when flipping, and its a effort just to flip my board. I used to be able to put my front foot right up on the bolts if I wanted to, pop - flip - catch, easy. With these I have to put my foot super far back and sideways to even land and even then its sketchy. The shoe is incredibly padded though, there is so much there, they will probably last me for months even to put a hole in the front of the shoe. But with all that thick material, it can make the foot sweaty, hot and uncomfortable. Bearing in mind what I paid for these shoes, I am quite disapointed, and will be getting a different brand next time :/

Hell yeah the Herm 2's are one of my favorite cup soles, they kill it. Emerica footwear and Emerica clothing will always hold a close place to my sole, haha. http://www.utilityboardsupply.com/get_list_40.htm

The Herman 2's r the best the sole r the best i recomend them Emerica Shoes r in better than Fallens in my opinion. These are really good. Took me about a week to break in, and they're really thin around the foot, which helps my skating alot. I got the KSL2's that had all the baker logos on them. It looked shweet, and was great for skating. I'm too lazy to type anything else, but you should really consider getting these.

guys emerica is sick but, try the leather or the suede emericas like: the suede reynold 3 or the ar slims. the shoes are great not a lot of board feel.

I just had a pair of Reynolds 3 for three months, and now they are ripped from the middle of the shoe till the very front of the shoe. Not hating on Reynolds, but his shoes suck.

emerica makes good skate shoes. they got a good team and some durable comfortable shoes. the reynolds 2 and B.herman models are my favorite. look for the lace protectors...it helps. if you cant find any look for some fallens.

The Emerica Reynolds series are one of the best shoe series there probably is. I've seen Emerica Reynolds 2 and 3, and I have to say that I like the 2nd one better. Good fit, comfort, grip, and durability.

First skate shoe I ever had was the Emerica Reynolds. Now they have the Reynolds 2 so I dont know if its any better or not but my Reynolds shoes were pretty good to learn on. The only thing I would change would be to make the toe a little stronger because I wore the leather off of the toe by kickflipping. These shoes lasted about a year before I had to stop wearing them, I skated those shoes to death. The plastic in the back was sticking out of the shoe and would cut my heel if I wore the shoe so I had to let them go. Now I have Adio Footwear shoes, the Kenny Anderson model and they seem to be a lot better.
