Bizarre phantom issue meant to psychoanalyze your moral limits.  Killing to save someone else defeats the whole purpose of saving another life in the first place.  The question is too vague to be answered with any clarity.

I agree with scarletfeather, I would only kill if in self-defense- or to kill in the case of having to defend a family member. Otherwise, I cannot fathom the idea of killing someone just to kill...someone.

Theoretically I'd be willing to make the aggressor die instead of the attacked. Yet I'm not sure if I can muster enough courage and resource to do so if the emergency occurs.

Would hope the situation never comes up. If it comes down to self defense or this person was hurting one of my kids. yes. have to protect them.

I would, however, kill someone to save myself, and many years ago came damn close to doing exactly that.

In defense, absolutely. In that type of situation, it either comes down to him or us, and it certainly isn't going to be us if I have a say in it!
