A good idea. . .and many domestic white-collar types adopt internationally due to what the foster care system does to kids. Adopting domestically is a logistical nightmare- one of the worst-kept secrets amongst the real population of Americans who adopt internationally.

No, I would not adopt a child from any country. I would adopt cats from any country though.

Adoption is a noble act of selfless care for the life and welfare of an orphan. But it doesn't make sense to adopt a child from another country while American children are abandoned and even die because nobody cares for them. Fix and clean your house first before doing it for others.

We got kids here in America that need adopting too, so I'm gonna say no.

maybe if I were younger. I am toward the very end of childrearing, so not so sure I would want to start over. but if I were adopting I would consider adopting from a different country.adopting in my own country would be an option if I did not mind an older child. babies are much harder to get.

I wouldn't even adopt a child of my homeland.

If i am ever going to adopt, i would hope i wouldnt adopt someone from Al Quieda or Korea. It is because i want to keep me, and my pets safe.

I'm all for adopting children, and would rate it higher if the scope hadn't been limited. I'd sooner try adopting within my own country. It might take longer or cost more, but there are children HERE that need the same opportunities.

Sure,if I thought I could give it a stable home and a decent life.I'd want a wife to help me raise it,though.I know some single parents do an amazing job of raising a child alone, and I give them TONS of credit, but I don't think I'd be capable.

If I were younger and could handle raising more kids and was financially more stable than I was when I was young enough I definitely would consider it. In fact, I thought about it before having one of my own because idon't like the idea there are so many unwanted children in the world. The desire to have my own child won me over.

If I had means to have and to support this child, I probably would.

I definitely would, especially since I would easily welcome that child into my home and into my family.
