grate i just got mine to day they brake in in one day they have excellent grip and i landed my first kick flip with these shoes

damn good! but not for the hardcore skaters...they rip easy..but love the style and tech...good for stairs though...

haha i don't know about three months, honestly i blow out a shoe in three weeks but it all depends on how you skate i suppose. I grew up skating the es accel's and they are some of the best shoes i've skated to this day. If you don't like cup soles they offer a ton a vulc, along with the other soltech brands (emerica and etnies). If you are looking for something that is going to hold up a bit longer check out any of the nike sbs or a cup sole from dvs or even some of the beefier fallens. Es's are my second favorite and they are cool skate shoes but they rip way too easily SO Get Some MOTHERF****** DC's THE BEST if you have a different opinion then SCREW YOU.
