 | irishgit (138) 07/04/2007 | Supertramp are possibly the most over-rated and untalented band ever to reach big-time success. This is them at their worst.

 | gobidesert (0) 07/04/2007 | Perhaps the worst album ever -- one of the very few that got played once, then thrown away. To this day I cannot listen to any of the drivel off of it. Take a look at my boyfriend, he's a little piece of snot. AHHHHHHHHH, plug your ears and run.

 | Limpin' Trenchfoot (16) 07/03/2007 | Breakfast in America...and Sick All Over my Cornflakes is what would happen if I ever heard this again. An album chocka with twee little ditties such as the title track on the Logical Song. Saved from a 1 star as there were even worse albums being made at the same time. Was it a cynical marketing ploy to have the word 'America' in the title? Would it have sold zillions if it had been called 'Breakfast in Viet Nam'?

 | doobiesNhof (21) 05/10/2007 | A group apart from the pack of other classic rock groups. A great sound and catchy lyrics...
"...take the long way home..."

 | Victor83 (35) 03/28/2007 | Though this would probably be classified more as pop-rock, this was a well done, well rounded album.

 | GreggOrange (17) 03/27/2007 | These guys sound like a bunch of silly, wimpy pussies that formed a "rock" band to try and mellow everybody out, get people to be more "sensitive" and "introspective" and go and hold hands in the park and play with balloons. Roger Hodgson has got to be one of the most childish, irritating and stupid vocalists to ever come out of rock music (if indeed you could even feasibly label this band's crap as rock in the first place) and his vocal style would seem much more suited to preschool Saturday morning cartoons on about a Barney level. Ugh! I find this band to be thoroughly unlistenable tripe, even by bland FM rock station standards. If you think that this band even slightly rocks, you need to get your head examined! This is the type of music they are playing in hell, believe me.

 | Moosekarloff (17) 01/26/2006 | When I first heard this album, I thought I was listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks. Really annoying and obnoxious vocals. The songs are retarded, the production slick to the point of being unctuous, and the album is overplayed first note to last. The album was dated the minute it hit the stores. Besides that, it's great. These guys didn't have a clue how to put it all together, instead, they insisted on shoving their moderate technical proficiency down your throat. Total crap.

The further a person gets in their twenties and thirties the more this album will be appreciated. These lyrics really hit home. The issues of adulthood are coneyed in poignant fashion!

 | frogger20190 (3) 08/26/2004 | Pop brilliance.
Crime of the Century may be their critical triumph, but Breakfast in America was their commercial one. Both albums are must-haves for any pop and rock music fan. The Logical Song was a bit overplayed, but I still enjoy hearing it. And Take the Long Way Home ranks with Give a Little Bit as their finest musical moment.
